Cooking with Kids

The cute little fingers can surprisingly be good in the kitchen. So put on the chef's cap, rolled up the sleeves for cooking fun with your kids.Here are some easy recipes that your kids can cook BUT under the supervision of the parents.#kids #jugnukids #kidsparenting


VEGGIE PINWHEEL

Prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients
4  tortillas
3/4 cup light cream cheese
1 small cucumber, peeled and sliced thin
cottage cheese
2 medium tomatoes, sliced thin

Instructions
1. Arrange the tortillas on a cutting board. Spread each with about 3 tablespoons cream cheese, then top with cucumber, cottage cheese and tomato slices.
2. Roll up each tortilla, pressing down firmly as you go. Place wraps, seam side down, on a cutting board and cut each into 4 sections.

You can use of other vegetables also to make veggie pinwheel more tasty.

Warning
This should be done under the supervision of the parents. Do not leave your kid alone in the kitchen.



STRAWBERRY PIZZA

Prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients
1 package baked sugar cookies
1/4 cup strawberry jelly
12 Tbs light strawberry cream cheese
6 large ripe strawberries, chopped

Instructions
1. Heat jelly in a small pot over low heat until liquefied, about 2 minutes. Set aside to cool.
2. Spread each cookie with 1/2 Tbs cream cheese, and top with chopped strawberries. Brush melted jelly on top.

Other fruits like kiwi or grapes can be used for garnishing.

Warning
Kids should make it under the supervision of parents. Do not leave your kid alone in the kitchen.



JELLY SHAKE


Prep time: 10 minutes

Ingredients
2 cups milk
1 banana
2 tablespoon peanut butter
2 tablespoons jam and jelly
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
pack of munchini

Instructions
1. Place all the ingredients in the blender.
2. Blend for 3minutes, untill smoothen.

While serving put 2 munchini sticks and serve cold.

Warning
Blender should be used with the help of parents only. Kids should make it under the supervision of parents. Do not leave your kids alone in the kitchen.
