Making kids do their age appropriate chores at house

For Parents kids will always remain kids no matter how older they get. Every parent love to do their kid's work and feed them even if they are capable of doing it on their own. It may create problem for them and that is unwillingness to do any work. It will make lazy.

Here are some tips that can be helpful in this regard-

-START YOUNG

Do not think that kids are too little to do any household chores. Toddlers can perform simple tasks like putting back their toys in place after playing. Give them simple tasks so that can complete it and also help you in the household works.

-LET THEM HELP

Invite children to help you in the work and let them learn that it is a teamwork and it has to be done together. It ill help you spend time with them and lesson for them to do household chores and search for the things.

-SHOW THEM THE WAY

Demonstrate and explain them how to complete small tasks. Show them the place where the things belong to. 

-PRAISE THEM

Praise them by repeating the chores that they have performed, so that it doesn't let them feel like work.

-DO NOT HAVE HIGH EXPECTATION

When a kid does home chore, it may not be to your level of perfection. Do not criticise. Recognise their efforts and the completion of tasks.
